After seeing "Knocked Up" the movie, I was expecting a big probe about the size of a fat turkey baster to be used from the inside to see the ultrasound image. Thank God that didn't happen. The movie prop was used for comedy only.
The real life scene involved a tool on the outside of the stomache. Phew! I get the feeling there are more reasons to peel myself off the wall of a hospital room to come. I asked what that thing moving on the screen was. The technician said "that's the heart beating". Good sign!

Hip Hip Hooray - have tried to comment before to no avail - hope it works this time. Jennifer - you have another great talent - writing!(humour)! Enjoyed the recount of your Seattle trip. I guess you can save all this for your baby to look at when he/she becomes interested (in their 30's??)I'm not too witty and not that smart but that's never stopped me before from commenting - lol:) anyway - look forward to the next 7months or so.
